I was born in the Bronx in New York City. I moved to Warwick in 1973. That is where I grew up and where I graduated from high school. I got started in the insurance business in 1988 in an Independent Insurance Agency. I went to school and obtained my Property and Casualty License in 1989. I married my husband John in 1990 and we moved to Cuddebackville in 1991. I met my business partner, Rebecca, earlier that year. My husband and I had 2 sons, Justin in 1993 and Ryan in 1996. I have a stepdaughter, Jennifer who was born in 1986. I obtained my Life and Health License in 1998. As our family grew, we needed more space and built a house in Milford, PA. After a while, the commute became too much and I decided it was time to make my dream of owning my own insurance agency come true. Rebecca and I did some research and we opened up our first agency, Brooke Insurance, back in 2006. We broke free from Brooke In October of 2008 which is when we officially became Dingman Delaware Insurance Agency, LLC. After first opening our agency, we became very actively involved in our community. We joined the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and joined the Women in Business Committee. We also joined the Pike County Builders Association and became one of the few agents in the county that sells the group health coverage through Builders Benefits. In addition , I was nominated and voted onto the board of directors at the Pike Chamber. I joined Kiwanis and became secretary of our division. Last year, we together with our fellow Village at Delaware Ridge neighbors had our 1st annual Olde Fashioned Carnival. This year, we held our second and look forward to improving on it each and every year. Furthermore, I am very dedicated to my local church, Dingmans Ferry UMC where I teach 5th and 6th graders in Sunday School. I also act each year in the Church’s annual mystery dinner theater which I thoroughly enjoy. I am an avid Met fan, although I believe that it is wreaking havoc on my heart!!! I enjoy baking, decorating and spending time with my family. I love this community and look forward to continued involvement and future success.

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I have been in the insurance industry since 1990. In 2006, I decided to take a short sabbatical after growing tired of long commutes. During this time, my business partner and I decided to open an independent agency of our own. We chose Dingmans Ferry because there was a strong need to have a local agency here. I am friendly, dedicated and compassionate. You can trust that I will do my very best to find you the best coverage at the best price. I am a member of our Pike County Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business and Pike County Builders Association. I attend a local church and try to volunteer my time there when needed. I am a wife and mother of three. I moved to Dingmans Ferry in 2001. We chose Dingmans Ferry because of its majestic beauty, schools and affordability. I am formerly of Warwick, New York and come from a long line of Warwickians. While I miss it there, I have no regrets about coming here. My family and I enjoy, biking, hiking, boating and attending local community events. I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful community with so many friendly residents. I look forward to meeting those I have not already met.
